Project Description

The purpose, production approach, and broadcast outcomes of the April 23 International Children’s Festival Samsun Gala production prepared for TRT.

The TRT April 23 Festival Production was prepared to present the Samsun Gala programme, organised as part of the 41st TRT International April 23 Children’s Festival, to audiences through television and digital broadcasting.

What was the purpose of the project?

The primary purpose of the project was to record stage performances, cultural gatherings, and the enthusiasm of April 23, featuring children from different countries, within an integrated television production and deliver them to broad audiences.

What approach was adopted?

The long-form gala programme was structured by considering stage flow, multi-camera filming, live performances, presentation segments, audio management, and broadcast graphics together. A fluid and watchable programme format was created in line with corporate broadcasting standards while preserving a colourful visual language for children.

Multi-Camera Filming

Multi-camera event filming captured stage performances, presentations, and audience interaction from different angles.

International Event Structure

Performances featuring children from different countries were combined within an integrated broadcast flow reflecting cultural diversity.

Audio and Stage Management

Speeches, musical performances, and the stage atmosphere were prepared for broadcast through balanced audio processing and editing techniques.

Multi-Platform Broadcast Compatibility

The programme was prepared in formats suitable for television broadcasting, online video platforms, and long-term archive use.

What does this project provide for institutions?

The project enables large-scale cultural and children’s events not only to be recorded but also to be transformed into institutional memory, digital accessibility, and long-term communication value.

This work is a comprehensive television production that integrates the international children’s gathering of April 23 with staging, filming, audio, editing, and broadcast graphics.
